About The Position

CPSFL has an exciting opportunity for a Parent Coach for BRIDGES at Belle Glade for a full-time position. The purpose of BRIDGES is to enhance parental & community capacity in targeted neighborhoods around increasing healthy births, decreasing child abuse and neglect, increasing school readiness and increasing rates for 3rd grade children reading on grade level.

Requirements

Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field of Social Services; Master’s Degree preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Have experience working with children and families with psychological, behavioral, and/or psychosocial issues.
Have a strong understanding of the stages of early childhood growth and development.
Demonstrate cultural competence and awareness of the socio-cultural characteristics of clients served.

Responsibilities

Be able to help parents become, and remain committed to, actively supporting their children’s learning and development.
Possesses organizational skills necessary to maintain client records.
