Paratransit Driver
About The Position
A Paratransit Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Using a vehicle to successfully transport people, performing pre-trip inspections, performing child checks post-route, and keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations are the most important tasks of the driver. Paratransit Driver – My Ride Serving Maple Grove, Osseo, Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center & nearby destinations. At My Ride, every trip matters and so do the people behind the wheel. Requirements
- Valid MN driver’s license
- Safe driving record
- Ability to assist passengers as needed
- Strong communication and customer‑service mindset
- Dependable, compassionate, and safety‑focused
Responsibilities
- Safely transport riders using paratransit vehicles to scheduled destinations
- Provide friendly, respectful assistance to riders with diverse mobility needs
- Follow all safety, DOT, and company procedures
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and support teams
- Represent My Ride and Transit Team with professionalism and care—every ride, every time
- Performing pre-trip inspections
- Performing child checks post-route
- Keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations
