About The Position

A Paratransit Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Using a vehicle to successfully transport people, performing pre-trip inspections, performing child checks post-route, and keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations are the most important tasks of the driver. Requirements

  • Valid MN driver’s license
  • Safe driving record
  • Ability to assist passengers as needed
  • Strong communication and customer‑service mindset
  • Dependable, compassionate, and safety‑focused

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport riders using paratransit vehicles to scheduled destinations
  • Provide friendly, respectful assistance to riders with diverse mobility needs
  • Follow all safety, DOT, and company procedures
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch and support teams
  • Represent My Ride and Transit Team with professionalism and care—every ride, every time
  • Performing pre-trip inspections
  • Performing child checks post-route
  • Keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations
