Requirements
- Valid Paraprofessional License, Substitute Teaching License, or Professional Educator License
Responsibilities
- Support teachers with classroom instruction and daily learning activities
- Observe and manage behavior of students according to approved procedures
- Implement behavior management techniques as instructed by the teacher and/or behavior therapist
- Supervise and observe assigned student(s) to maintain order among the students in the classroom, on school grounds, and during school outings
- Assist students with personal care needs as required
- Supervise students and promote positive behavior in a supportive environment
