About The Position
Anoka-Hennepin School District is seeking Highly Qualified Paraprofessionals to support elementary students at Champlin Brooklyn Park Academy. Openings are available across multiple special education programs, including: Resource Program, Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) Center-Based Program, and Ready Set LAUNCH Center-Based Program.
Requirements
- Candidates must be Highly Qualified through one of the following: Pass the Minnesota Para Educator (Highly Qualified Para) Exam, or Have at least 60 college credits with official college transcripts.
Responsibilities
- Provide instructional and behavioral support to students receiving special education services.
- Assist students in classroom and learning activities.
- Support students with daily living needs as required.
- Toileting assistance is an expected responsibility for all paraprofessionals.
