About The Position
Jump Ahead Pediatrics is actively seeking a Paraprofessional to join our team near North Bergen, New Jersey for a school-based role! Let’s make a meaningful impact on every child’s journey! Job opportunities are also available across various locations in New Jersey and Nation-wide! Setting: School-Based Services Pay: $22-$24/hour Exclusive school placement (no travel required) Dates : Sept 2026-June 2027 Hours: 8:30 am - 3:15 pm Para should have experience potty training as well as some experience collecting data.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree Or at least 60 college credits Or you have passed the Paraprofessional Praxis Pro Exam

Responsibilities
- Assist Classroom Teachers: Provide support to teachers by helping with instructional activities, managing classroom materials, and ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.
- Support Students' Learning Needs: Work closely with individual or small groups of students to reinforce lessons, assist with assignments, and provide accommodations for those with special educational needs.
- Promote Positive Behavior: Help monitor and guide student behavior in the classroom and during school activities, ensuring adherence to school policies and promoting a safe, respectful learning atmosphere.
