About The Position

Assists in school plans for the purpose of providing a safe and effective educational environment for students with challenging behaviors. Monitor behavior intervention support program, including detentions and in-school suspension. Assists in school plans for the purpose of providing a safe and effective educational environment for students with challenging behaviors. Provide expectations for behavior in the food service setting, holding students accountable for expected behavior. Provide reinforcement to students as they engage in appropriate behavior. Monitor hallways and parking lots. Assist in the afterschool transition. Participate in a variety of meetings, for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions and remaining knowledgeable with program guidelines. Collect data on student behavior. Provide descriptions of behavior in observable and measurable terms. Implement necessary procedures to support students in the learning environment. Assist in crisis and/or emergency procedures according to protocol. Perform clerical duties and related work as required. Work effectively and maintain a professional rapport with teachers, students, and other staff members. Implement the responsible thinking process with fidelity to allow students to proactively make positive choices. Punctual, reliable and predictable attendance is required. Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Punctual, reliable, and predictable attendance is required.
