About The Position
Pathways to Life, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Residential Paraprofessional to join our new Greenville Group Home team, providing structured support, guidance, and daytime care for youth in a safe, nurturing environment. This role is for the 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid NC driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and actively engage with youth.
- Willingness to be flexible with occasional schedule changes as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with youth with mental health, developmental, or behavioral challenges preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist youth with daily living activities, emotional regulation, and social skill development.
- Implement individualized behavior strategies, de-escalation techniques, and crisis interventions.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive residential environment.
- Document daily service notes and behavioral observations per agency and NC standards.
- Participate in team meetings and treatment planning.
- Some travel required for youth appointments and school meetings.
