About The Position

The Paraprofessional provides one-to-one support for a special education student at Soledad Transition Center. The position receives a 5% stipend. Official transcripts and TB test clearance are required upon hire.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet at least one of the following: complete 48 semester units at an accredited college or university, verified by official transcripts; hold an Associate of Arts degree or higher from an accredited college or university, verified by official transcripts; or demonstrate knowledge of and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and math by passing an exam issued by a designated agency.
• Provide TB test clearance and official transcripts upon hire.
• Submit certification of an AA degree, 48 college units, or a passing Paraprofessional Assessment Test.
• Submit a letter of introduction, three letters of recommendation, proof of high school graduation (diploma or GED), a resume, and a TB screening result dated within the last four years.
