About The Position

Support Student Success – Become a Paraprofessional at our Wegner Day School at Boys Town! Make a difference every day by joining Boys Town as a Paraprofessional! In this role, you’ll support teachers with instruction, classroom management, and student engagement. You’ll help create a positive, structured learning environment that empowers youth to achieve academically and personally—all while being part of a supportive, mission-driven team.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience, preferably in a school or youth care environment required
• Nationally recognized personal restraint model must be obtained during pre-service training required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instruction and classroom management
• Support lesson delivery and provide one-on-one help to students
• Supervise students during non-instructional periods
• Help prepare assignments, grade work, and reinforce learning
• Serve as a positive role model and support student well-being
• Serves as a role model in carrying out activities and behaviors that reflect the values and principles of the Boys Town mission.
