About The Position
This position is full-time, 35 hours per week. Holly Park Academy, located in Lansing, MI, opened in 2009 and serves students K-8. The school has academically outperformed its local district nine years in a row and is ranked in the top 5 schools in Lansing. It offers a supportive, professional, and collaborative team environment with strong educator support from school leadership and a behavioral support specialist. The school cares deeply for the whole child and offers wrap-around services to ensure that struggles outside the classroom do not impede learning. Requirements
- Must meet state requirements for being a Title 1 paraprofessional.
- Knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and/or mathematics.
- Understanding of and capability to navigate technical systems.

- Previous experience working in a school or with school-age children.
Responsibilities
- Assess student abilities and provide instructional assistance for students in need of academic intervention through 1:1 or group workshops as directed by the classroom teacher and designated instructional leader.
- Commit to educating the whole student – academically, morally, and socially.
- Implement result-driven curriculum to achieve significant growth from fall to spring testing.
- Attend professional development and articulation meetings with classroom teachers and parents as required.
