This position provides supplemental instructional support to eligible students. The role involves delivering interventions to students based on instructional plans developed by the Title I Teacher and/or the General Education Teacher. These interventions may include small group and/or individualized instruction, tutoring, or guided practice. The paraprofessional is responsible for reporting intervention outcomes, administering assessments and screeners for program eligibility, intervention creation, progress monitoring, and student exiting. They may attend parent/teacher conferences, maintain student files and activity logs in compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensure constant communication with teachers regarding student progress and concerns. Additionally, the paraprofessional may serve as an active member of various school teams (e.g., RTI, data, PBS, school improvement) and assist teachers in upholding behavior expectations and maintaining a safe classroom environment.
