About The Position
As a Paraprofessional, you’ll play a vital role in supporting young adults behavioral health and similar needs in their recovery. You’ll provide these individuals with daily support and encourage independence and personal choice. No two days are the same—and every day brings the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
- Personal Insured Vehicle
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting individuals is helpful
Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily living skills such as personal care, meals, and routines
- Supporting medical needs and appointments
- Following individualized support and recovery plans
- Encouraging community involvement and social engagement
- Completing routine overnight safety checks (for overnight staff)
- Working collaboratively as part of a compassionate, supportive team
