About The Position
The Sequoia Union High School District is hiring a Paraprofessional I at Sequoia High School. The district encourages applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences, particularly anti-bias educators who are racially conscious, equity-focused, and motivated to support the success of all students. Applicants must meet No Child Left Behind (NCLB) requirements for paraprofessionals. Regularly employed part-time employees working at least 15 hours per week may be eligible for the District’s highest HMO single premium rate and dental benefits for employee-only coverage, along with a prorated District contribution toward two-party or family coverage. These benefits do not apply to substitute employees.
Requirements
- Must meet NCLB compliance requirements by satisfying one of the following: a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of college (48 units); an A.A. degree or higher; or passing an NCLB exam before employment.
