About The Position

The Radnor Township School District is seeking a Full-Time Paraprofessional for English-Language Development (ELD) to work district-wide for the 26-27 school year. The assignment will be based on district needs, with a daily schedule of 6.5 hours per day during student days. This role requires flexibility to work in multiple buildings and adapt to changing student needs. The position is covered by the RESPA contract (Level A Paraprofessional).

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Experience working with people who speak languages other than English.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Completion of PDE required training (on-line training courses).
• Current (less than one-year old) clearances: Child Abuse, PA State Police Criminal History, FBI Fingerprint Record.
• Completion of PA Act 168 Disclosure Release Form(s).

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years college degree, desired.
• Highly Qualified training will be provided for applicants having less than 2 years college experience.
• Experience working with students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for English-Language Development (ELD) students.
• Be flexible in working in multiple buildings within the district (split time).
• Adapt to changing building assignments as student needs dictate.
• Assist students with their educational needs.
• May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.
