About The Position

Paraplanner Ferhadson and Associates | Troy, MI | Full-Time Ferhadson and Associates, an Ameriprise Financial advisory practice, in Troy, MI is seeking a Paraplanner to join a collaborative and growing team. This role is ideal for a financial services professional who enjoys both the analytical and client-facing sides of the business and is looking to deepen their experience in financial planning. This is not an entry-level role. The ideal candidate brings prior industry experience, holds required licenses, and is looking to grow within a practice—expanding their planning expertise and taking on increased responsibility over time. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services or a professional office environment
  • Active FINRA licenses (Series 7 & 66) and Michigan Life & Health insurance license
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as contact for client requests and follow-ups
  • Participate in client meetings and support ongoing relationship management
  • Prepare and deliver post-meeting follow-up communications
  • Process and document new business and account maintenance
  • Execute advisor meeting notes and trades with advisor direction and proper documentation
  • Conduct rollover calls with clients and institutions
  • Gather and review client data and documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare presentations and materials for client meetings
  • Support pre- and post-meeting workflows, including tracking action items
  • Assist advisors in maintaining firm and regulatory compliance standards
  • Support ongoing projects and ad hoc business initiatives
