About The Position

The Paramedic, under the direction of the Medical Director and Manager assists
in providing care directly and indirectly. The Paramedic works within the scope
of his/her practice and the polices of the organization to meet the needs of the
patient and/or families. The Paramedic performs care of the patient as described
and regulated by the Missouri Bureau of Emergency Medical Services via the
authority of the Missouri Comprehensive Emergency Medical Services Systems Act
(Chapter 190, Missouri Revised Statutes 190.010 –190.245) and rules promulgated
under sections 109.001-190.245.This position requires intimate knowledge of both
clinic and hospital, policies and procedures relevant to delivery of patient
care and the ability to communicate verbal and written information in a
friendly, effective, and accurate manner. The Paramedic works cohesively with
teammate to provide exception service to all patients, families, visitors,
caregivers, and providers.
