About The Position

The ER Technician II is responsible for basic patient care duties and assists with direct patient care, providing support services to patients, families, and other Emergency Services staff. Duties include therapeutic treatment as ordered by the physician on duty, operating laboratory equipment, and supporting patient discharge and education. The role supports the mission, vision, values, and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Texas EMT-P certification (license required) or National EMT-P Certification.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current Advanced Cardio Life Support Certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of work-related experience is preferred.
