About The Position

The Paramedic acts as a member of the healthcare team, performing delegated patient care duties in the assigned department. The role is accountable during the shift for providing patient care in accordance with recognized techniques, standards of practice, and hospital policies and procedures. The Paramedic assists and cares for patients by providing personal assistance, medical attention, and emotional support to patients and family members, and performs related duties as required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic training course.
• Paramedic experience.
• Paramedic License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire if not current.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an emergency room.
