About The Position
Administers pre-hospital care within scope of licensure, under the direction of licensed physician, in accordance with established hospital policies/procedures and Illinois Department of Public Health regulations. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care. Other roles and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalency.
- Illinois Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic and CPR required.
- Illinois drivers license with no suspensions/revocations within the past three years, or any convictions for reckless driving, speeding (in excess of 15mph over the limit), or driving under the influence within the past five years.
- EKG course required.

- Related experience preferred.
