About The Position

Lifestar is opening a new area in Southern Winnebago County, Wisconsin, beginning January 2026, and is seeking full-time and part-time Paramedics and Critical Care Paramedics to staff two new ambulances and stations. Lifestar, a family-owned private ambulance company founded in 1995, services nine communities in Wisconsin and maintains a family atmosphere. They respond to approximately 5,500 calls annually and operate at a Critical Care Paramedic Level, offering paid in-house training and valuing their employees as appreciated members of their family.

Requirements

Current Wisconsin EMT-P or CCEMT-P license
Valid Driver's License with relatively clean driving record
Must be 18 years of age or older
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to communicate easily with patients, family members, nursing staff, and doctors
Drive to grow as a provider
Strong leadership skills with the desire to mentor other providers

Responsibilities

Provide 911 services to the Southern Winnebago County area.
Staff new ambulances with full crews.
Respond to approximately 5,500 911 and 911-equivalent calls annually.
Operate at a Critical Care Paramedic Level.
Participate in community events such as Senior Fairs, Community Fund Raisers, Parades and Festivals.
Provide standby services at events like Races, Community Sporting Events, and County Fairs.
