About The Position

This role involves identifying, intervening, and assisting with stabilizing ill or injured patients under the direction of a physician and/or Registered Nurse. The Paramedic will initiate and support appropriate patient care interventions in accordance with hospital protocols, scope of practice, and established standards of care. Additionally, the role requires monitoring, documenting, and communicating patient condition, treatment provided, and response to interventions as appropriate. Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members is essential to support timely, coordinated, and compassionate patient care.

Requirements

Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Paramedic specializing in Flight credentialed from the International Board of Specialty Certification obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date OR Paramedic credentialed from the Florida Emergency Medical Services obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

PALS certification
Minimum 1 year of previous Paramedic experience.
