About The Position

We are looking to build out a team of Paramedics in the Detroit, MI area for an upcoming event 7/2-7/5. Are you an Paramedic seeking flexible and engaging opportunities to supplement your income? Our dedicated team of event medics play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of participants at various events. While most of our clients' events proceed without incidents, our Paramedics are present as a precautionary measure to provide peace of mind and immediate first aid if needed.

Requirements

Paramedic certification
Ability to administer first-aid treatment
Proficiency in basic life support measures, including CPR
Skill in evaluating patient conditions and determining the need for escalation to emergency care
Effective communication and coordination with emergency services

Nice To Haves

Experience in event medical services
Ability to work in diverse environments

Responsibilities

Offer first-aid treatment to patients reporting injuries or illnesses, ensuring prompt and effective care.
Be prepared to administer basic life support measures, including CPR, to stabilize patients in critical situations.
Evaluate patients' conditions to determine if they require escalation to emergency care and make informed decisions for their well-being.
Communicate and coordinate with emergency services to facilitate patient transfers when necessary.
