Requirements

EMT or Paramedic certification
Ability to work within scope of practice under direction of Medical Director or Health Services Administrator
Ability to respond to medical emergencies
Ability to deliver basic and advanced life support
Ability to assist in daily healthcare management under supervision
Ability to ensure safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors
Ability to maintain compliance with correctional regulations and medical protocols

Responsibilities

Provides patient care within their scope of practice under the direction of the Medical Director or Health Services Administrator in a correctional environment.
