About The Position

Superior Ambulance Service provides emergency medical services and scheduled medical transportation across the Midwest. Paramedics provide safe transportation and quality medical care to sick and injured individuals within the scope of state EMS regulations. The position is available in Kenosha and other listed locations.

Requirements

• Have NREMT certification or a current state license, or have a license pending.
• Be able to provide medical care at the EMT or Paramedic level while safely transporting patients.
• Have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Be able to safely operate a vehicle in daytime, nighttime, and inclement weather conditions.
• Pass a pre-employment interview, physical and lifting examination, drug screen, and background check.
• Attend company-provided training and driving course.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care within the scope of Paramedic training.
• Transport patients safely and efficiently, including accurately reading maps and identifying street names, house numbers, and business addresses.
• Assess patients appropriately and accurately communicate their condition to other medical professionals.
• Prepare accurate written reports describing patients' conditions, medical histories, and treatments provided.
• Provide appropriate documentation for billing information.
• Maintain the vehicle in sanitary condition and monitor fluid levels and gauges.
