About The Position

The Paramedic's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to; responding to calls, and providing care to patients in transit to medical facilities. ABC Ambulance is certified as a Ground Ambulance Provider by the Arizona Department of Health Services to serve Maricopa County. ABC Ambulance teams deliver compassionate, quality medical care, primarily in the areas of care in behavioral health or psych transports.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
State Paramedic License
State Driver’s License
BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
Driving record in compliance with company policy
Pass Physical Agility Test
Some work experience, preferably in healthcare

Responsibilities

Respond to calls, and providing care to patients in transit to medical facilities.
Deliver outstanding patient care with a calm, professional approach.
Provide top-notch customer service to patients, partners, and teammates.
Drive and operate emergency vehicles safely and responsibly.
Thrive under pressure - both independently and as part of a team.
Keep accurate records and protect patient privacy (HIPAA compliant).
Show up on time, stay professional, and take pride in clean vehicles and equipment.
