About The Position

Responds to routine and emergency calls and provides medical evaluation and treatment for patients of all age populations within the scope of Paramedic training. The role requires working under stressful conditions and in all types of weather, prioritizing assignments, and having the coordination, dexterity, and physical capability to lift, carry, extricate, and provide care to patients. Paramedics must have visual acuity for driving during the day or night; corrective lenses are permitted.

Requirements

• High school education.
• Completion of a state-approved Paramedic program, verified through a primary source.
• Current valid driver's license.
• Current Georgia certification.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and CPR credentials.
• Proficiency in patient care skills within the scope of training.
• Working knowledge of basic computer applications.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions in all types of weather.
• Motor coordination, manual dexterity, and physical condition sufficient to lift, carry, extricate, and administer care to patients.
• Near and far visual acuity necessary for driving a vehicle during the day or night; corrective lenses are permitted.
