About The Position
Performs a variety of duties to assist the nursing staff in rendering patient care within the limits of the State of Ohio certification guidelines. The paramedic will have a team assignment with a registered nurse and will be expected to provide total patient care in coordination with the registered nurse and medical staff. The paramedic will be proficient in documentation of any care provided to the patient.
Requirements
- State of Ohio certification guidelines
- BLS certification (until ACLS is obtained)
- PALS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire if not currently certified)
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff in rendering patient care within the limits of the State of Ohio certification guidelines.
- Provide total patient care in coordination with the registered nurse and medical staff.
- Document any care provided to the patient.
