About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring product safety and quality through various operational duties. The Backup Operator will be trained on blow molding basics and must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. The position requires continuous physical activity and adherence to safety procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform continuous lifting, bending, reaching, and twisting.
• Cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product safety and quality.
• Complete all related paperwork.
• Take readings, including all bottle measurements.
• Operate the blow molder and all downstream components.
• Clean molds.
• Assist with changeovers.
• Evaluate and take appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment.
• Inspect work areas for unsafe acts/conditions.
• Effectively use verbal and written communications.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, and sorting duties as necessary.
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures.
