About The Position

This position is for a Backup Operator working either the 7A-7P or 7P-7A shift. The fundamental responsibility of this role is to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all listed duties. The operator will be responsible for all related paperwork, taking readings (all bottle measurements), running the blow molder and all downstream components, cleaning molds, and assisting with changeovers. The role also involves evaluating and taking appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment with established standards and guidelines, inspecting work areas for unsafe acts/conditions, and effectively using verbal and written communications. The operator must also perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary and perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift
• Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching and twisting
• Willingness to be trained on Blow mold basics and complete a 6 wk. Operator Training Course
• Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment with attention to detail
