About The Position
Provides advanced life support care to the sick and injured and safely transports customers of all ages to a medical facility. In addition, the paramedic assists with other services and events as directed by North Memorial Ambulance Service.
Requirements
- Successfully completed paramedic training program from an accredited institution required
- Previous ambulance experience preferred
- Previous advanced life support experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to organize, problem solve, make decisions during emergency situations and work independently
- Possess or quickly acquire knowledge of the street and highway system within the service area
- Current Minnesota or Wisconsin Paramedic Certification or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire date
- American Heart Association ACLS and BLS Certification or Amercian Red Cross ALS and BLS Certification upon hire or within 14 days
- Valid State Class D driver's license in the state of residency with an acceptable driving record
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross PALS Certification
- ICS-100, ICS-200 and ICS-700 or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire date
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
