About The Position

Apex Paramedics is looking for amazing Paramedics to join our team! We offer plenty of overtime on our dedicated 911 car and a new salary range to offer the highest pay in the Denver Metro Area. Requirements

Current state paramedic certification
Valid ACES, CPR/BLS certification
Valid driver's license
Able to pass background checks (including MVR in accordance with policy)
Ability to lift and carry up to 150 lbs with a partner, prolonged physical activity required.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments prior to and during transport; monitor vital signs and document changes.
Provide ALS care as appropriate and within state and company guidelines.
Safely load, secure, and unload patients using stretchers, stair chairs and other patient movement devices.
Communicate effectively with sending/receiving staff to ensure continuity of care.
Complete all patient care reports (PCRs) and required documentation accurately and on time.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform daily unit inspections, and restock after each shift.
Operate emergency vehicles safely and in compliance with all state and local traffic laws.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times.
Respond professionally.
