The mission is to provide a safe environment for its members and housing residents onboard JBCC. JBCC is comprised of over 22,000 acres that are not accessible to members of the public. The size of the installation and its limited access to the public creates an inherent risk for anyone working and living there, as timely lifesaving medical care is not available in the case of medical emergencies. Municipal Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers are unfamiliar with how to safely transit the installation even during the day. After dark, many streets are unlit, unmapped or poorly mapped, and responses can be expected to take more than 20 minutes if called. In addition to emergency medical response, specific operational tasks include: Electronic Health Records: may utilize the Military Health System (MHS) GENESIS electronic health record system. Always present a professional appearance Must comply with all applicable Government regulations, policies and procedures (e.g., fire, safety, sanitation, environmental protection, security, “off limits” areas, and possession of weapons). Smoking is prohibited in all federal facilities and within 50 feet of building entrances.
