About The Position

Medstar is hiring EMTs and Paramedics in Genesee County to provide emergency medical services and mobile healthcare across Michigan. The organization provides 911 emergency response services in Southeast Michigan and offers work in emergency response, interfacility transport (IFT), and critical care transport (CCT). Team members use industry-leading equipment and resources to deliver patient care, with opportunities to gain experience and grow their careers. Full-time and part-time shifts are available.

Requirements

For Paramedics: Michigan Paramedic license.
For Paramedics: Valid driver's license and good driving record.
For Paramedics: Physical ability to perform job functions, including physical agility and lifting.
For Paramedics: American Heart Association CPR and ACLS certifications.
For EMTs: Michigan EMT license.
For EMTs: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
For EMTs: Physical ability to perform essential job functions.
For EMTs: Current American Heart Association CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in emergency response, interfacility transport, or critical care transport settings.
Perform the physical functions and essential job functions of the position, including physical agility and lifting.
