About The Position

Paramedic - Emergency PRN Days Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together. Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032. Work hours: PRN "as needed" - variable Days 7am-7pm, including one weekend shift every six weeks. Training: Must be able to attend orientation and training at the corporate office in Arlington from 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire. Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
3 months paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship required
EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic required upon hire or LP - Licensed Paramedic required upon hire
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care required and maintained quarterly
Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced environment, positive interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills, able to perform basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

1 year experience paramedic experience in EMS or fire department preferred
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire
CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
