About The Position

Cipriani & Werner is a multidisciplinary law firm focused on understanding clients’ needs and delivering expected results. The firm’s Woodbridge Office in Iselin, New Jersey, is seeking a General Liability Paralegal to join its growing team. This is an in-person position. The salary range is $60,000–$85,000; actual compensation depends on factors including experience and qualifications. Requirements

• A paralegal certificate or college degree.
• Seven years of experience as a New Jersey defense paralegal.
• Ability to work independently and think critically.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to work as a team member in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• New York paralegal experience.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident, and product liability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare subpoenas.
• Review and thoroughly summarize discovery responses and medical records.
• Schedule, notice, and confirm Independent Medical Examinations; gather and produce related records.
• Calendar relevant deadlines and follow up on them.
• Draft motions to compel, motions for sanctions, motions for extraordinary relief, and motions to enforce subpoenas.
• Perform verdict, docket, social media, and background searches.
