Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Studies or Pre-Law preferred.
  • 5+ years of business or legal office experience required.
  • Knowledge of loan documentation, real estate transactions, legal descriptions, and title insurance.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and business systems.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of paralegal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and manage legal documents related to agricultural lending, real estate transactions, and financial services.
  • Partner with lending, operations, and legal teams to support loan closings and complex transactions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external legal counsel on multi-state and large-scale lending projects.
  • Conduct legal research and provide guidance on regulatory, compliance, and contract-related matters.
  • Manage legal cases, contract administration, and legal service billing processes.
  • Support legal requests from stakeholders, government agencies, regulators, and third parties.
  • Track legal matters, documentation, and deadlines to ensure timely and compliant execution.
