About The Position

The New Orleans, LA office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a paralegal with litigation experience. The primary duties of this position include working for a minimum of (4) attorneys, involving document and file management including but not limited to review, creation, and organization. In addition, obtaining records and compiling information for discovery, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trial preparation are essential functions of this role. Ideal candidate will have pre-trial and trial experience and be familiar with Louisiana State and Federal filing rules and procedures. Appellate experience a plus. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate.
At least three (3) years of litigation work experience.
General Liability background preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
Strong Excel skills required.
Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours.

Nice To Haves

Pre-trial and trial experience.
Familiarity with Louisiana State and Federal filing rules and procedures.
Appellate experience.
