The Ohio Justice and Policy Center (OJPC) is seeking a passionate Part-Time Paralegal to support its Beyond Guilt Project. This project advocates for the release of incarcerated individuals serving excessive or unjust sentences through parole advocacy, judicial release, resentencing efforts, and other legal mechanisms. The Paralegal will be the operational backbone of the project, supporting approximately 10-13 active client matters annually. This role involves working closely with attorneys to coordinate records gathering, develop rehabilitation portfolios and reentry plans, maintain case files, and ensure cases progress efficiently. The position is part-time, non-exempt, requiring 20-25 hours per week, with a salary range of $26,000-$28,000, commensurate with experience.
