About The Position
Well established, mid-size Law Firm, seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to work in Plaintiff Personal Injury Law. This person will have heavy and extensive experience in Litigation, and be able to handle a case load of 20-30 cases that are in progress.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years plus of Litigation experience as a Paralegal
- Able to draft Pleadings for review by Attorney(s)
- Excellent Research and Writing skills
- Knowledge of the Local Rules and Civil Procedures
- In depth experience with the Discovery process
- Great communication skills and able to communicate with clients, opposing counsel and court personnel.
- Have a friendly and compassionate demeanor
Responsibilities
- Drafting and editing correspondence and pleadings
- Monitoring Calendar deadlines and SOL’s
- Working closely with the Attorneys
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Case Management
- Preparing for Depositions, Mediations, Arbitrations and Trials
- Preparing Exhibit Binders
- E-filing
