Requirements

  • Civil litigation experience
  • Detail oriented
  • Professional demeanor
  • Able to handle large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional proofreading, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Word, Outlook and internet research
  • In depth knowledge of legal terminology and principles
  • Ability to analyze legal documents for accuracy
  • Paralegal certificate or two years’ experience working as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in a litigation practice
  • Ability to perform legal research

  • Bachelor's degree or work equivalent
  • Adobe and electronic document management with a prospective focus on construction-related disputes
