CGS is seeking an experienced Paralegal to provide legal research, document drafting, and case management support for a large Federal agency initiative. Requirements

  • Experienced Paralegal
  • Ability to review and organize large quantities of emails and other documents.
  • Ability to create and use spreadsheets and databases.
  • Ability to gather factual information and material, including agency records, court records and other public records.
  • Ability to read, analyze and summarize materials, including court pleadings, court orders. transcripts, files and other factual materials, and draft memoranda as needed.
  • Ability to work with federal agencies to locate and organize information and ensure compliance with court orders.
  • Ability to perform specialized research, including factual and legal research, as necessary, and write memoranda.
  • Ability to provide automated litigation assistance to attorneys in briefs, presentations , and hearings.
  • Proficiency in using various software applications and graphics hardware such as scanners.
  • Ability to prepare documents, exhibits, charts and visual materials.
  • Ability to provide technical support, e.g., enlarging charts and photographs, duplicating tapes and videos and marking exhibits.
