About The Position

This is a full-time, direct hire position for a seasoned Paralegal with over 5 years of experience, located in Parsippany, NJ. The role requires extensive experience in litigation, including discovery requests and background reviews, along with strong computer skills in MS Suite. The ideal candidate will have experience with the billing side of legal work and be able to "craft a narrative to support the time they spent." The position requires an individual who can work independently but also collaboratively, as there will be a large volume of documents. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings such as complaints, motions, and discovery documents, as well as managing cases and attorney calendars. Experience in plaintiff work, family law, real estate, or employment law is not a fit for this role.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal.
• Litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience with discovery requests.
• Experience with background reviews.
• Computer knowledge, including MS Suite.
• Independent drafting of pleadings (complaints, motions, discovery).
• Billing experience.
• Ability to manage cases.

Nice To Haves

• Personal injury experience, particularly if aligned with billing expectations.
