About The Position

We are looking for a Paralegal to contribute to product safety and compliance initiatives in a dynamic global environment. In this role, you will support the Product Safety team while collaborating with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. Join our Product Safety team and play a key role in supporting safety investigations, regulatory compliance, recall management, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Paralegal Technology or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal, regulatory compliance or related role.
  • Essential bilingualism in both spoken and written French and English in order to communicate with internal stakeholders located outside Quebec or unilingual English speakers on a daily basis.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when handling regulatory information and documentation.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend practical solutions.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in defect investigations by conducting research and compiling technical and legal documentation.
  • Support the execution of product recalls and mandatory vehicle safety and cybersecurity reporting activities.
  • Support the Product Safety team and collaborate with Marketing teams in ensuring the consistency and accuracy of safety-related communications across all channels.
  • Contribute to the documentation and continuous improvement of product safety and compliance processes by identifying best practices and recommending solutions.
  • Support the ongoing training of Document Coordinators and provide functional assistance across all countries where the program is deployed.
  • Maintain official documentation and manage requests related to archived records, including document access and destruction.
  • Act as the functional lead for the VIN Lookup and Autocertification platforms and their ongoing enhancements.
  • Document business processes, ensure traceability of activities and support change management initiatives.
