The Innocence Project's Post-Conviction Litigation (PCL) Paralegals provide essential research, drafting, and administrative support to attorneys dedicated to freeing the innocent. This role involves comprehensive case management, meticulous records and data management, and prompt responses to time-sensitive litigation requests. PCL Paralegals play an expansive role, going beyond traditional paralegal duties to include client communication, investigations, and collaboration with other IP Departments. They typically support two PCL Attorneys and may supervise interns and volunteers, working closely with law clinic students. The position requires approximately 40 hours per week and operates under a hybrid in-office model, with three days in the office and the remainder remote, including an organization-wide anchor day on Wednesdays. The number of required in-office days is subject to change.
