About The Position

Next Generation Orthopedic and Spine Institute is seeking a motivated Law Clerk to assist medical providers, attorneys, and legal counsel. The role includes conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and compiling case materials and medical records. It offers exposure to a fast-paced spine, orthopedic surgery, and pain management environment. The institute is an orthopedic practice established in 2014 that provides care for pain involving the back, neck, hips, knees, shoulders, and other areas, including in-house injections, referrals for conservative care, and surgeries. Its mission is to uphold high standards of patient care and improve quality of life through greater mobility.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized, with document management experience.
Excellent research skills.
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Notary Public Certification is preferred.
Previous experience as a Law Clerk or in a similar position is preferred.
Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare case-specific documents, including medical records, estimates, bills, and affidavits.
Keep case-related documents organized and available for review.
Authorize medical procedures and communicate with attorneys and case managers.
Maintain and update documentation.
Track transactions and schedules for providers’ medical and legal activities.
Conduct legal research and compile case materials.
