We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. We are hiring Medical Malpractice Paralegals for both Pre-Litigation and Litigation matters for a well-established South Florida Personal Injury Law Firm. The Medical Malpractice Paralegals is responsible for below specific duties.

Requirements

3+ years of Medical Malpractice or Nursing Home Abuse experience.
Proficient computer skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness.

Nice To Haves

Aderant Total Office software experience
Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Support attorneys throughout all phases of medical malpractice cases, from pre-suit through trial.
Assist with the preparation and filing of pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and other litigation documents.
Draft and coordinate discovery requests and responses, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions.
Obtain, organize, review, and summarize medical records, billing records, and other case-related documentation.
Prepare medical chronologies, case summaries, timelines, and other materials to assist attorneys with case evaluation and strategy.
Assist with identifying, retaining, and coordinating medical and other expert witnesses.
Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, opposing counsel, and litigation vendors regarding case-related matters.
Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, inspections, and other litigation events.
Track discovery, court deadlines, expert deadlines, and other critical case milestones.
Prepare deposition, mediation, hearing, and trial materials, including exhibits and case files.
