This role involves drafting legal documents, interviewing clients and witnesses, assisting attorneys with hearings and depositions, conducting legal research, preparing case files, and assisting with trial preparation. Requirements

3-5 years of legal service experience under attorney supervision
At least 2 years of personal injury litigation experience including strong command of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem. Code 18.001
Thrives in a high-paced exciting environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical, time management and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines
Self-motivated and able to complete primary tasks with little supervision

Nice To Haves

Experience on the Plaintiff’s side is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Draft legal documents including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, notices of hearing and draft initial written discovery objections and answers/ responses with the assistance of clients
Interview and prepare summaries of client and witness statements
Assist attorneys with planning and preparing for hearings and depositions
Legal research and analysis of statutes, regulations, articles, and judicial decisions
Provides written analysis to attorneys
Prepare and maintain organized case files to include evidence, exhibits, depositions, and other documents
Assist with trial preparation
