About The Position
The Immigration Paralegal supports executive leadership through the preparation and management of immigration matters. Building processes and systems to support MultiCare's hiring of foreign nationals, you will support leadership in expediting filings, maintaining records, and conducting legal research, schedules, and materials toward compliance and legal strategy objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate
- Minimum three (3) years of paralegal experience in immigration and international law
- Fluent in Spanish (oral and written) preferred
Responsibilities
- Draft and edit immigration forms, patient declarations, and support letters for USCIS, ICE, and Immigration Court, petitions and applications
- Prepare supporting documents and indexes and compiles evidence to be submitted with petitions and applications
- Conduct case research
- Request legal and medical records
- Manage relationships with hiring managers, sponsored employees, outside legal counsel, and federal agencies to provide a high-quality experience to our employees
