About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal II to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will provide essential support across a broad spectrum of legal areas, including estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law and regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, and litigation. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help ensure the smooth operation of legal processes and case management. Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of estate planning, environmental law, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), immigration law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, and litigation procedures.
  • Proficiency in legal research platforms including Westlaw and LexisNexis.
  • Experience with legal case management software such as iManage and PCLaw.
  • Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; excellent proofreading abilities.
  • Ability to conduct thorough interviews and perform detailed legal research to support case development.
  • Familiarity with document review processes and contract management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette; capable of providing high-level administrative support.

Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys with legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other research tools to gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulatory information.
  • Manage legal documents through document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Draft, review, proofread, and edit legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information for case preparation.
  • Support project management initiatives by tracking deadlines, maintaining case files, and coordinating court filings in compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
  • Perform data entry and filing tasks while maintaining meticulous records of case activities and legal documentation.
  • Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars for attorneys, handling phone etiquette professionally, and assisting with executive administrative tasks as needed.
