About The Position

We are looking for a commercially minded and operationally strong Paralegal, Contract Administration to join our Legal team supporting the North American commercial organization. This individual will support the Legal Department by managing the lifecycle of commercial agreements, administering contract management systems, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The role partners cross-functionally to enable efficient, compliant contracting processes and supports the development of scalable tools, templates, and workflows.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or paralegal certificate required (ABA-approved program preferred); bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm, with significant experience in contract administration or contract lifecycle management
  • Experience supporting commercial, procurement, or technology transactions in a regulated industry is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of contract law fundamentals and commercial agreement structures (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, distribution agreements), as well as familiarity with commercial pricing structures, promotional terms, or customer agreement frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and redline routine commercial contracts using approved templates and playbooks
  • Business acumen with the ability to understand commercial objectives, anticipate downstream contract implications, and communicate legal concepts in practical terms to non-legal stakeholders; experience in a commercial or sales-adjacent environment a plus
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management systems and legal operations tools; ability to support reporting, dashboards, and data integrity
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and proactively resolve issues as they arise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with stakeholders across multiple levels and functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and e-signature tools
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

Responsibilities

  • Manages the full contract lifecycle for commercial agreements, from intake, drafting, review, negotiation support, and execution through archiving
  • Maintains and continuously improves the contract management system, including data integrity, template libraries, workflow configuration, and documentation in compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and applicable regulatory standards
  • Designs, implements, and administers a centralized Request for Quote (RFQ) management process for the North American commercial organization, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance across all submissions
  • Develops and maintains contract reporting, dashboards, and metrics to support Legal Operations and senior leadership decision-making
  • Leads contract administration special projects as assigned by the Associate General Counsel or General Counsel
  • Assists in the integration of contract administration activities into broader Legal Operations processes and systems
  • Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, coordinate, and validate RFQ responses, ensuring timely, accurate submissions while proactively identifying and escalating non-standard terms, contractual risks, and compliance concerns
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries, providing legal and contractual support to the North American commercial organization on routine contracting and RFQ matters
  • Supports pricing programs, customer agreements, and promotional terms by ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and contractual documentation
  • Supports the development and rollout of contract templates, playbooks, and standardized clause libraries
  • Ensures contracts comply with the applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Identifies potential contractual risks and escalates issues appropriately
  • Supports compliance initiatives, audits, and regulatory reviews
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
